41st British Car Day® Request for Volunteers

The 41st British Car Day® will take place on Sunday 20th September at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. This year is the 41st anniversary of British Car Day® and we are anticipating an even bigger and better BCD this year. BCD's continued success is largely due to its volunteers and the BCD organizing team really requires your help to make this happen once again. It's a great day and a lot of fun volunteering.

We are so happy to have Maggie Sims back once again taking up her long-term responsibilities managing the Registration desk and area. We are so lucky to have her knowledge and organization skills back to this most important role.

This year we have revamped the registration process of attendees during the day. Attendees will now have the option to register after they pass through FastLane via their smartphone or by the traditional method of filling out the registration form and bringing it to the desk. Registration desk volunteers will then check the attendees information on-line or input their registration data from the form directly into the database via computers. Volunteers will then send their window card directly to a printer.

Therefore registration desk volunteers will be required to have some computer input skills. Rest assured the process is quite simple and straightforward. Volunteers should not have any difficulty.

If you can assist on Saturday and/or Sunday kindly review the functions and times below and click the Register button to the left. You will be directed to the registration form where you can confirm your volunteer assistance by selecting the function and times that you would be available. Please select as many functions and times that you are available to assist. If you have signed up for multiple roles on Sunday, kindly indicate your preferred choice in the comment section.

All registered volunteers will receive a special 41st Anniversary British Car Day® T-shirt, so please indicate your size at the bottom of the registration form. You MUST register prior to the event in order to receive the volunteer package and T-Shirt.

Thank you and should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Look forward to another great BCD and seeing you all there.

Cheers,

Rob Ragsdale
